Aircraft Performance Services (APS) is an aviation services provider of Flight Operations Solution dedicated to Safety, Efficiency, and Innovation in the Flight Operations Space while remaining cost competitive in all our solutions.
Our experienced and innovative team is focused on providing cutting-edge and cost-effective solutions to the aviation industry. We pride ourselves on precision, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of the complex challenges facing modern aviation operations.
Selected work in flight operations engineering
Take-off and landing performance charts
Regulated Take-Off Weight (RTOW) and landing weight charts produced for operator fleets, accounting for runway geometry, declared distances, the obstacle environment, and ambient conditions. Delivered in operator-specified formats for flight crew and dispatch use.
Obstacle data for terrain-constrained aerodromes
Airport Obstacle Database (AODB) compilation with Standard and Special Engine-Out Procedures developed for aerodromes where terrain limits payload. Obstacles and distant topography assessed to 27 nm, reviewed against survey, Type-A chart, and Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) data, and delivered in Extensible Markup Language (XML) on a monthly update cycle.
Operational monitoring
Automated Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) classification with geometric splay checking against reconstructed runway wireframes. Output includes annotated performance charts, Google Earth Keyhole Markup Language (KML) files for operational review, and published NOTAM Watch reports.
Data infrastructure
A consolidated airport and runway dataset combining bulk aerodrome reference data with APS-maintained performance records: declared distances, runway geometry, and slope. Built to feed RTOW production and obstacle analysis from a single validated source.
Client names withheld under commercial confidentiality. References available on request.
Comprehensive aircraft performance calculations and analysis for takeoff, landing, climb, and cruise operations tailored to your fleet.
Accurate weight and balance calculations ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance for every flight.
Expert consultation for flight planning optimization, fuel efficiency, company route development, and navigation database management to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Data-driven aircraft evaluation and selection based on operational needs, route structure, performance requirements, and cost efficiency.
Detailed runway performance analysis including takeoff, landing, obstacle clearance, and payload optimization for safe airport operations.
Continuous monitoring of NOTAMs with the issuance of updated RTOW charts for takeoff and landing, enabling informed operational decision-making. NOTAM updates are provided in professional Word document format for easy reference and compliance.
APS creates and maintains an up-to-date Airport Obstacle Database (AODB) required for calculation of take-off and landing performance data. The data includes runway information, declared distances, close-in obstacles, and distant topographical obstacles.
Maintain Extended Runway Centreline. Climb to Minimum Safe Altitude (MSA).
Optimised Procedure designed for complex terrain. Example: At D4.0 ABC TRACK 040°M
Due to the critical nature of obstacle data relied upon in the compilation of AODB, APS can continuously monitor NOTAMs and AIP for changes to airport and obstacle data.
Email alerts sent immediately when NOTAMs influence aircraft performance, ensuring your operations team stays informed in real-time.
Comprehensive weekly reports outlining existing NOTAMs likely to affect performance, aiding flight crew in operational planning.
For customers with EFB apps, we provide extracted distances and obstacle heights from NOTAMs for displaced thresholds and obstacles.
Note: NOTAM Watch updates are issued in response to changes affecting operational planning and performance calculations. For tailored NOTAM Watch implementation and operational integration, please contact our team.
